Action dialogue on the topic "Media / media activists."
The project TechnéDonne, Links is organizing a series of actions for dialogue "between women and men involved / involved at different levels in the discourse and practice of information and communication technologies.
Actions box are thematic forums of discussion, and aim to increase awareness of the need - but also the difficulty and complexity - to introduce the gender dimension in ICT, both in terms of design that use . The avowed aim is to bring out and discuss clear differences of approach and assessment of women and men , and if sent possible points of view shared.
Action box will analyze the history of this important practice going over differently in the light of creativity and initiative of men and women.
The meeting, whose title is deliberately provocative
"Media Women: a world apart?"
be held in Bologna on July 4
from 15 to 19 hours
at the headquarters of the project TechnéDonne
in Via San Felice n. 24
The dialogue will be led by an introduction by Massimiliano Geraci for Links, from the speeches of "Betty" Sexy Shock and Vittorio State of Islands in the Net and NgVision. Other contributions are expected.
