Young people and alcohol in Reggio Calabria 
During the meetings scheduled in the project "Sober", many young people have highlighted the abuse of alcohol is widespread in our city and what is perceived as a low risk to health and quality of life. The course of study just ending to 'ITC Ferraris of Reggio Calabria, will see the boys of C IV as actors in a video interview / testimony that will give the reading of the situation from the perspective of Reggio young.
A group of teenage scouts in the parish of Candlemas remarked how little understanding there is of the actual damages that may result in the 'abuse of alcohol, in particular, how many times it is associated with other risk-taking behavior (reckless driving, use of spinels, ...) So
alcohol as a fellow leader in the evenings with friends or even alone, which already begins to find a niche in the lives of teenagers around 12-13 years with regular use of fruit drinks (4 to 5 degrees).
The idea that many young people of this food, which can become substance of abuse with consequences for the nervous system is also very important, is that it can become a " help" in the difficult social and emotional relationships experienced in this particular period development.
" A big deception for a small minority who believe in their abilities and emotional investment to build personal relationships, rather than in a non-conscious use of alcohol to make contacts with other peers.
In the coming summer months will be scheduled for moments of territorial to disseminate information on alcohol-related harm, but also to listen to those who are the views of the young world of Reggio Calabria.

The project therefore aims to provide correct information about the use and abuse of alcohol, providing information about risks and alcohol-related harm. They will meet the young students at some schools and other venues, events are planned to raise awareness and focus groups.
